| With the advent of zone defenses coaches are looking for ways to efficiently attack them. Coach Steve Merfeld not only shows 10 quick hitters that can be effective against any zone defense he also uses on-court demonstration to teach six drills for attacking zones. Merfeld stresses attacking the zone from behind with skip passes and by using the short corner, creating three-on-twos within the scheme, and having a rebounding plan.
